Covered Bridge Classic 10K Road Race

Event Overview

For 2026 the Covered Bridge Classic 10K welcomes participants from the Sugarloaf Mountain Athletic Club (SMAC) Race Series. This is a charity event supporting the FOH.

Registration Details

• Pre-registered Participants: All pre-registered participants will receive a pair of socks from SockGuy (some of previous year's model and newly ordered).
• Day-of Registration: Available and accepts ONLY CASH/ CHECK (payment to ‘Festival of the Hills’) - no electronic payment (Venmo etc) accepted.
• Registration Deadline: Day-of Reg closes at 9:40 SHARP to allow racers/ staff 20 minutes to get to the start line.
• Travel Time: Allow enough time to walk/jog the roughly 1-mile to the start line at the covered bridge.

Facilities

• Restroom Availability: Note that porta potties are located across from the registration table/finish line but not at the start.
• Race Format: This is a point to point race (start/finish are NOT in the same location).
• Gear Transportation: If you wish for a backpack to be transported from Start area to Finish line, a pickup truck will be available to do so at the start.
• Items Transportation: This will allow you to remove any (extra/warm, dry) clothing at the start or send other items (water bottle, food, etc) from the start to the finish where you can pick them up.
