Covered Bridge Classic 10K Road Race

Race Overview

For 2026 the Covered Bridge Classic 10K welcomes participants from the Sugarloaf Mountain Athletic Club (SMAC) Race Series. This is a charity event supporting the FOH.

Registration Information

• Pre-registration: All pre-registered participants will receive a pair of socks from SockGuy (some of previous year's models and newly ordered).
• Day-of Registration: Available and accepts ONLY CASH/CHECK (payment to ‘Festival of the Hills’) - no electronic payment (Venmo etc.) accepted.
• Registration Deadline: Day-of Reg closes at 9:40 SHARP to allow racers/staff 20 minutes to get to the start line.
• Starting Point: Allow enough time to walk/jog the roughly 1-mile to the start line at the covered bridge.

Facilities

• Porta Potties: Located across from the registration table/finish line but not at the start.
• Transportation: A pick-up truck will be available to transport backpacks from the start area to the finish line.
• Personal Items: This service allows you to send extra warm, dry clothing or other items (water bottle, food etc.) from the start to the finish.
• Race Route: This is a point-to-point race (start/finish are NOT in the same location).
