Don Maynard Memorial 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

The entry fees are $30 for the 5K run and $25 for the 2-mile walk. Online registration closes on Sept. 19. Race-day entry fees are $35 for the 5-mile run and $30 for the walk.

💖 Donations

Donations also are encouraged. In Don’s memory, proceeds go to the Don Maynard Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to graduating Franklin County public school seniors.

👕 Race Shirts

Race shirts to the first 50 entrants.

🏅 Endorsements and Discounts

The race is endorsed by the New England 65-Plus Runners Club and will have 5-year age groups starting with 65-69. There's a $5 discount for 5K participants who are 65 or older.

📍 Course Information

The 5K course starts on Colrain Road and loops around through the “Meadows” section of town, back to the starting line, taking a left onto Nash’s Mill Road heading east to the bike path entrance and finishing on the bike path bridge.

Walkers will walk a 2-mile loop of the bike path.

🌊 Post-Race Activities

Be sure to take a dip in the river to cool off afterward!
