About this race
Race Overview
First Annual Spofford 10K!
Come join us for the first official running of the Spofford Lake 10K. Being such a popular route for runners, walkers and bikers, may as well make it official!
Course Details
- Distance: 6.2 miles loop starting and ending at Wares Grove Beach, Spofford, NH.
- Terrain: Mostly wooded route along smoothly paved local roads.
- Finishing Views: Lakeside views along the last approximately 1.5 miles of the route.
- Elevation: Several brief, gently rolling hills with a big push up North Shore Hill at mile 2.
Aid Stations and Safety
- Water/Aid Station: Provided at mile 4.
- Traffic Control: Provided along Route 9 and 63 by Chesterfield PD.
- Accessibility: Welcome to runners of all ages!
- Purpose: Proceeds to benefit local food shelters and athletic programs.
T-Shirt Information
- Included: T-shirts for participants registered prior to October 5.
- Post Deadline: Registrants entering after that date will receive a T-shirt on a first come, first served basis.
- Availability: Only a handful of extras will be ordered.
