• Event: Join Us for the 1st Annual Friends of the Poor® Walk – Steps of Hope
• Date: September 19, 2026
• Purpose: Every step and every donation helps the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provide hope and assistance to neighbors facing hardship due to illness, job loss, or unexpected financial challenges.
• Services: SVdP volunteers serve all people in need, regardless of religion, race, or national origin, helping families with essential needs such as rent, utilities, food, clothing, and other critical support.

Ways to Participate

• Walk: Walk with us in person
• Virtual Participation: Walk virtually—anytime, anywhere
• Sponsorship: Sponsor a walker or become an event sponsor
• Donation: Donate to the cause

Event Schedule

• 8:30 AM: Check-In at the Knights of Columbus Pavilion
• 9:00 AM: Friends of the Poor® Walk Begins
• 9:30 AM: Complimentary Breakfast & Fellowship
• 10:00 AM: Door Prizes & Giveaways (must be present to win)
