Lipman 5K Run/Walk For Backpacks

We're back again for 2026!

The 12th Annual Lipman 5K Run For Backpacks will be hosted in Ave Maria, FL.

The Lipman 5K is a race the whole family can participate in. 

• Proceeds: ALL of the proceeds will go towards purchasing backpacks, bicycles, shoes, and other school supplies for Lipman's Annual Backpack Giveaway, hosted in Immokalee every August.
• Contribution: This will be the 16th year that Lipman has hosted its backpack giveaway and this is a great way for you to contribute in a healthy way.
• Importance: School supplies are more essential than ever.
• Support: Help us take the weight off of families during a demanding back-to-school season by registering for the Lipman 5K Run For Backpacks.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 in beautiful Ave Maria.

• Location: We have moved the race from Annunciation Circle to North Park - 4010 Anthem Pkwy, Ave Maria, FL 34142.
• Participants: We invite the serious runner, the weekend jogger, and families with children to come enjoy this beautiful course around the lakes at Ave Maria.
• Walking Course: There will also be a 1 Mile walking course and a free Junior Fun Run for kids 10 and under.
• Shirts: All race registrants will receive a dri-fit long-sleeved shirt.

Awards will be presented during the race.

• Trophies: Trophies will be awarded for the male and female winners in a number of age categories.

Registration

• Same day signups begin at 6:30am on race day

• $30 for adults

• $25 for students (6-22 yrs)

• $25 if you register more than one person at the same time.

• Cannot be stacked on top of any other ongoing sales.

Pre-race packet pickup will be available on Friday March 20th from 8am until 5pm at:
