Event Announcement
- The BASH is on!
- Description: The BASH at Muckelratz is a rain or shine non-competitive mountain bike weekend in the Weiser State Forest on the Rattling Creek Trail system.
- Purpose: SAMBA holds the event to generate funding to pay for the upkeep and expansion of the Rattling Creek IMBA Epic.

Event Details
- Terrain: Rattling Creek features classic Central PA Rock Garden riding.
- Map: For a map please visit Rattling Creek Trail System.
- Camping: Primitive camping available with portable toilets and limited electricity.
- Raffles: Win items donated by sponsors (must be 18+ and CASH ONLY).
Important Reminders
- Quiet Hours: Strictly from 11 PM to 8 AM due to township ordinance.
- Pack Out: Please pack out anything you bring in to help keep costs down.
- Equipment: Helmets and waivers are required for all group rides.
- Weather: The event is only canceled due to extreme weather conditions.

- Beginner Rides: There really are no true beginner rides: trails are technical.
- Registration: Pre-registration via BikeReg is preferred.
- Family Rate: Event focused on riding, dinner included in the price.
- Saturday Dinner: Pizzas and subs will be provided.

- Parking: Check-in at the SAMBA tent if arriving late.
- Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are allowed on leash.
- Camping After Event: No camping past Sunday: check Weiser State Forest website for free campsites.
