Event Overview

• Fundraising Purpose: The event is the main fundraising event for the Jamestown Rotary Club.
• Community Impact: Proceeds support local, national, and international causes.
• Past Contributions: Funds have helped purchase wheelchairs in Nicaragua, create a women's literacy project in Ghana, and more.
• Community Support: Contributions have benefited local schools, Boy Scouts, and clean water projects in rural communities.

Jamestown Rotary Gran Fondo

• Schedule: 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM
• Entry Fee: $45
• Ride Details: A fun 19-mile timed and supported ride on the scenic roads of Conanicut Island.
• Participation: Open to riders of all ages and abilities: just bring a bicycle, helmet, and a desire for fun.

Registration Information

• Pre-registration: Available online through BikeReg.com until October 10th.
• No Mail-in Registrations: Only online registration accepted.
• Pick-Up: Number pickup and registration available from 7:00 AM until ½ hour before start time.
• Day-of Registration Fee: A $15 fee added for day-of registrations (except Juniors): helmets required at all times.

Directions

• From Points West: Follow Route 138 East, cross the Jamestown Bridge, and take the first exit at Helm Street.
• Follow Directions: Go through the Stop sign to the 2nd Stop Sign (North Road), turn left at Narragansett Ave and follow signs to parking at Ft. Getty.
• From Points East: Cross the Newport Bridge, take the first exit, and make a right at the Stop sign.
• Continue Directions: Proceed under the overpass, turn left at the next Stop sign, and follow signs to Ft. Getty for registration and race start.
