About this race
Race Overview
- Start/Finish Location: Fred Benson Town Beach Pavilion
- Route Description: The race begins with a flat stretch heading north, followed by gentle uplifts, steeper hills, and turns.
- Scenery: Runners will experience views of the Great Salt Pond, beach dunes, and The North Lighthouse.
- Challenging Loop: At the North Light, runners will embark on a loop around the beautiful west side of the island.
Course Features
- Hill Challenges: Expect lots of hills and turns.
- Scenic Backdrop: Rolling pastures, stone walls, farmhouses, and the beautiful blue Atlantic offer a stunning view.
- Final Stretch: Runners will descend Airport Hill back to the Pavilion.
- Stunning October: October on Block Island is a breathtaking experience!
