Race Overview

Join us in the City-by-the-Sea for this stunning marathon, half marathon and 5k. Newport Rhode Races partners with the upcoming Annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival to give you a true Spring Newport Experience. Our courses will pass along many of the over 1,200,000 starting to bloom around the City by the Sea. (We'll call it Dash through the Daffodils!)

• Date: April 18, 2026
• Location: 175 Memorial Blvd, Newport, RI
• Marathon Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Half Marathon Start Time: 7:45 a.m.
• 5k Start Time: 8:15 a.m.

Course Information

• Certification: The marathon course is USATF certified.
• Boston Qualifier: This course is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

Environmental Responsibility

Please respect our native environment - STAY OFF THE DUNES, use trash receptacles, and recycle as much as possible.

Additional Information

• Weather Policy: Newport Rhode Races will happen rain or shine.
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for any reason.
• Event Cancellation: If weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment, the event will be canceled.
