🏃‍♂️Race Overview

Join us in the City-by-the-Sea for this stunning marathon, half marathon and 5k. Newport Rhode Races partners with the upcoming Annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival to give you a true Spring Newport Experience. Our courses will pass along many of the over 1,200,000 starting to bloom around the City by the Sea. (We'll call it Dash through the Daffodils!)

📅Event Schedule

• Marathon Start: 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Easton's Beach in Newport, RI.
• Half Marathon Start: 7:45 a.m. from the same location.
• 5k Start: 8:15 a.m. - All from the same beautiful seaside start.
• Beach Mile Start: 11:30 a.m., on the beach adjacent to the finish line.

🌊Course Details

• Beach Mile: An out-and-back on Easton’s Beach, finishing under the Race Arch.
• Course Surface: Please plan for uneven surfaces, beach debris, seaweed, shells, and all those wonderful items we love about the ocean. This will be part of the challenge of completing the course.
• Marathon Certification: The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
• Respect the Environment: Please respect our native environment - STAY OFF THE DUNES, use trash receptacles, and recycle as much as possible.

⚠️Important Notes

• Weather Policy: Newport Rhode Races will be happening rain or shine.
• No Refunds: Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason.
• Event Cancellation: In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.
