Newport Rhode Races

Race Overview

Join us in the City-by-the-Sea for this stunning marathon and half marathon. In its 10th running, the Newport Rhode Races partners with the upcoming Annual Newport Daffodil Days Festival to give you a true Spring Newport Experience. Our courses will pass along many of the over 1,200,000 starting to bloom around the City by the Sea. (We'll call it Dash through the Daffodils!)

• Location: 175 Memorial Blvd, Newport, RI
• Marathon Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Half Marathon Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

Course Information

The marathon course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

Environmental Commitment

• Respect Nature: STAY OFF THE DUNES
• Use Receptacles: Please use trash receptacles
• Recycle: We encourage recycling as much as possible

Cancellation Policy

Please Note: Newport Rhode Races will be happening rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers will cancel the event with no refunds issued.
