Event Details
- Start and Finish: The event will start and finish at the Avondale Aquatic Center
- Sanctioned Event: The West Valley Tri is a sanctioned event by USAT
- Membership Requirement: All participants are required to have a USAT Day membership or yearly membership in order to participate

New Features for 2026
- Color Coded Bibs: Each distance will have color coded bibs to help you with signage along the course
- New Venue: The West Valley Triathlon has a new home at the Avondale Aquatic Center
Race Schedule
- Pre-race Packet Pickup: Information will be posted and emailed a week before the event
- 6:30 AM: Chip pickup and Transition opens
- 8:00 AM: Youth and Super Short Sprint Start
- 8:05 AM: Short swim starts
Event Distances
Long Tri and Long Tri Relay
- Swim: 250 Meter
- Bike: 12 Mile
- Run: 5K
Short Tri and Short Tri Relay
- Swim: 200 Meter
- Bike: 8 Mile
- Run: 1.5 Mile
Mini Tri and Youth
- Swim: 100 Meter
- Bike: 4 Mile
- Run: 1 Mile
- Note: If your youth athlete is 14 and under, an adult must ride with them during the bike portion of the event
Duathlon
- Run: 5K
- Bike: 12 Mile
- Run: 5K
Participant Swag
- Finisher Award: All participants will get a finisher award
- T-shirt: Guaranteed if you register before 11/7/2026
