CLCF Youth Sports 5k & Youth Race

Race Description

Get ready to lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement for an incredible morning of fitness, community spirit, and meaningful impact! Whether you’re an avid runner aiming for a personal best, a casual jogger, or looking for a kids' fun run, the CLCF Youth 5K brings together athletes and families of all ages to support youth athletics and local causes close to our hearts.

Supporting Organizations

• Cranston League for Cranston's Future (CLCF): Fostering youth development, teamwork, and healthy habits through accessible youth sports programs across our community.
• CPD Cares: Partnering with local law enforcement and community leadership to provide support, outreach, and safety initiatives for families in need.
• The Jaxon Marrocco Foundation: Honoring Jaxon's legacy by raising awareness, backing pediatric health initiatives, and offering vital support to families navigating challenging journeys.

Event Details

• Where: Mulligan’s Island, 1000 New London Ave, Cranston, RI
• Course: Start and finish at Mulligan’s after running through the Pastore Center Campus.
• When: September 19, 2026
• Packet Pickup: 7-8:30 am

Race Schedule

• Youth Race Starts: 8:30 am
• 5K Race Starts: 9 am

Registration Fees

• Youth Race 12 and under: $10
• 5K Race: $30 until 9/12
• 5K Race: $35 starting on 9/13
• Additional Info: Shirts for all runners registered by 9/12

Awards

• Top Prizes: $100 gift card to top male and female winners
• Medals: To the top 2 male and female in the following age categories:
• Age Categories: 20 and under, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 70+
• Cause Supported: The CLCF United in Sports 5K will support CLCF Sports, the Jaxon Marrocco Foundation, and CPD Cares.

Community Event

Following the race, CPD Cares will be hosting its 2026 Cranston Police Community Outreach Fall Festival.
