Moosup Valley 5k, 8K and 10K All Trail Race

Event Overview

Run with us on Sunday morning, September 27, 2026 on the newly restored Moosup Valley State Park Trail, Sterling CT.

Race Schedule

• Kids Fun Run: Begins at 9:30 am
• 10K Race: Begins at 10:10 am
• 8K Race: Begins at 10:20 am
• 5K Race: Begins at approximately 10:30 am

Parking Information

All runners can park next to Weidele's Pizza and Pub, 50 Main Street, Sterling CT. This is the starting and finishing line for all races.

Post-Race Amenities

• Finisher's Choice: Medallion or quality tee shirt*
• Food & Beverages: Available at Weidele's
• Relaxation: Enjoy the lawn or picnic tables as we announce the winners
• Course Details: 100% State Park Trail with 5 water stations

Race Details

The races traverse scenic trails: the 5K and 8K cross two back roads heading toward RI, while the 10K crosses one road toward Moosup.

Community Support

Proceeds support The Rotary Club of Plainfield, CT Foundation, which focuses on food insecurity and women's health products for the underserved members of our local community.

K-9 Participation

Leashed, well-behaved K-9's are welcome!
