History

• Inaugural Ride: The inaugural Share the Road ride was hosted in 2006 following the death of OPP Sergeant Greg Stobbart.
• 20th Anniversary: This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary on the same roads that Greg trained on.
• Mission: The mission of the Share the Road Cycling Coalition is to build safer roads and stronger communities.
• Community Impact: The Coalition works with partners across Ontario to improve understanding between motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.

• Advocacy Success: For two decades, the Coalition has worked to improve cycling infrastructure and advance legislation.
• Participation: When you register, you are riding with purpose.
• New This Year: Your impact will give the next generation healthy habits for life.
• Program Launch: Proceeds will support Bikeability for Ontario—a new cycling-skills education program.

Registration Details

• Cost: Registration for the Share the Road Gran Fondo is $250.
• Breakdown: Includes a $125 event registration fee and a $125 charitable contribution.
• Tax Receipt: The charitable portion is eligible for a tax receipt.
• Thank You: Your participation and charitable gift make this event possible.
