Mayor's Challenge 5K + 1 mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for our 7th annual Mayor's Challenge in 2025 with all proceeds to benefit Middletown's World Trade Center Memorial Gardens Committee, a non-profit group of family members and interested residents who developed a lasting tribute to 37 residents who were lost as a result of the World Trade Center attacks.

🌳 Race Route

• Scenic Location: The race route meanders through one of the hidden gems of Middletown - Poricy Park!
• Trail Type: The trail consists of wide grass paths, as well as some sections of single track.
• Terrain Warning: Poricy Park is not flat - beware of the hills!
• Surface Details: This is a trail/cross-country course - race surfaces consist of grass, gravel and wooden platforms - trails are not paved.

• 5K Fitness Walk: 8:45am
• 1mi Fun Run: 9:00am
• 5K Race: 9:30am
