• Event: 50th Annual Belmar 5 Mile Run.
• Presented by: the Goodwill Hose Co., the Borough of Belmar & the Jersey Shore Running Club.
• Date & Time: Saturday, September 5, 2026 – 8:00 AM.
• Location: Ocean & 2nd Ave, Belmar, NJ.

ABOUT THE RACE

• Overview: Please join us for the 50th Annual Belmar 5 Mile Run along the beautiful Belmar oceanfront and local streets while helping to raise money for the Goodwill Hose Co.
• Participation: The Belmar 5 Mile is one of the largest road races in New Jersey, with more than 3000 participants each year.
• Family Event: This event has something for everyone - from our premier event - the 5 Mile Run - to the Kid's Races for our littlest runners on Friday, September 4th!
• Charity: The squad relies on charitable contributions raised by this fundraiser to help defray some of the operating costs of the fire company. Please consider a donation.

REGISTRATION FEES

• Early Bird Registration: $35 (2/8/26 through 5/31/26, 10% off for JSRC Members).
• Online Pre-Registration: $40 (6/1/26 through 8/29/26).
• Race Week Registration: $50 (8/30/26 through 9/5/26).
• Kid's Races: Friday, September 4, 2026 – 6:30 PM at Silver Lake Park, Ages 1-12.

KID'S RACES REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Registration: $15 (2/8/26 through 6/30/26).
• Pre-Registration: $20 (7/1/26 through 8/29/26).
• Race Week Registration: $25 (8/30/26 - 9/4/26).
• Benefits: Kid's registration includes: Finisher medal, t-shirt, kid’s activities.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

• Course Restrictions: The course is restricted to registered runners, wheelchair division athletes & official race personnel.
• Child Policy: No children under 8 years old are allowed on the race course in any type of baby strollers/joggers or baby carriers.
• Prohibited Items: Unregistered participants, unauthorized vehicles, baby strollers/joggers, roller blades, in-line skates, skateboards, pets and bicycles are also prohibited.
• Time Limit: There is a 90-minute time limit for the Five Mile Run (18 min/mile pace maximum).

• Total Participants: 3244 registered, 2678 finishers.
• Age Records: Youngest runner - 5 years old: Oldest runner - 89 years old.
