2026 Race for Campus Safety - Salt Lake City, UT

The Lauren McCluskey Foundation’s Race for Campus Safety is an annual, community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to improve how colleges and universities respond to relationship violence and stalking. Inspired by Lauren McCluskey’s life and legacy, the race brings together students, families, advocates, and campus communities in a shared commitment to meaningful, lasting change. Participants of all ages are invited to run, walk, or volunteer in support of the foundation’s mission to advance campus safety, accountability, and student well-being.

More than just a race, the event offers opportunities for learning, connection, and collective action. Attendees can explore educational booths and valuable community resources, enjoy interactive activities like inflatable obstacle courses and yard games, and connect with others who share a commitment to safer campuses. Special mascot appearances are also planned, including Bumble the Bee from the Salt Lake Bees, Leo and Cleo from Real Salt Lake, and the University of Utah’s famed mascot, SWOOP—all currently scheduled to attend! Proceeds directly support the foundation’s research, advocacy, and programming to help make campuses safer nationwide.

The 2026 Salt Lake City Race for Campus Safety takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, bringing the community together for another inspiring day of movement, awareness, and impact. Following the success of the 2025 event, which welcomed more than 800 participants, we look forward to growing that momentum and making an even greater difference in 2026.
