Race Overview

• Date: Saturday, November 21, 2026
• Time: 8:00 a.m. for 5K, 7:30 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. for Half Marathon
• Location: Historic Fort Screven on Meddin Drive, Tybee Island, GA

5K Race Details

• Course: Starts from Historic Fort Screven, runs past Officers row, Jaycee Park, and historic Fort Screven housing.
• Awards: 1st to 3rd places in various age/gender categories.
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a custom Tybee/Ranger finisher medal.
• Parking: Available at North Beach lot: purchase a parking pass during registration.

Half Marathon Details

• Course: An unmatched scenic route around Tybee Island with views including Historic Fort Screven and the Tybee Lighthouse.
• Timing: Chip timed event with a finisher medal and a technical t-shirt.
• Parking: Available at North Beach lot: carpooling is recommended.
• Note: Do not park at the Lighthouse: they open at 9 am.

Half Marathon Ranger Challenge Relay

• Eligibility: Active duty or retired Army Rangers.
• Team Event: Compete as teams in a Half Marathon relay format.
• Exchange Point: Approximately halfway through the course.
• Pre-registration: Strongly requested for planning purposes.

Half Marathon Ranger Challenge

• Eligibility: Only for Army Rangers competing one-on-one.
• Competition: Direct head-to-head against other Rangers in the half marathon.
• Awards: Custom crafted Ranger plaques for top overall male/female competitors.
• Additional Merchandise: Long sleeve t-shirts and hoodies available for purchase.

Awards Information

• 5K Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Age Groups 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
• Half Marathon Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Age Groups 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
• Age Categories: Ranges from 10 and Under to 60 and Up.
• Recognition: Top overall male/female per category receive a custom crafted Ranger plaque.

Packet Pickup

• Date & Location: Thursday, November 19, 2026, at The Hilton Garden Inn, Savannah, GA (Time TBA).
• Date & Location: Friday, November 20, 2026, at The Shrine Club, Tybee Island from 3:30-6:15 p.m.
• Start Line: Packet pickup at the starting line on race day.
• Reminder: Walk-up registrants may not receive a t-shirt.
