About this race
Lace up for a cause that goes the distance. The Great Run Austin brings runners and walkers of every pace together for a 5K and 10K through the heart of Austin across the University of Texas Campus — where every step, every mile, and every finish line crossed becomes hope for a child facing diabetes.
This isn't just a race. It's a movement of neighbors, families, and first-time 5Kers alike, turning morning miles into medical support, community programs, and brighter tomorrows for kids who need it most. Whether you're chasing a personal record or just chasing the finish line, you're helping a child chase something bigger — a healthier, fuller life.
Run for yourself. Finish for them.
Join us for the Great Run Austin — where every stride funds a cure.
