The KP High School SADD chapter will host its annual Miles for Maura fundraising event, a 5K Run/Walk in memory of Maura D. Howard on Sunday, May 3.
Background Information
- Incident Date: July 31, 1994
- Tragic Events: Maura was killed by a drunk driver who was speeding recklessly down the highway.
- Impact: Life for Team Howard and Maura's extended loving family and friends has never been the same.
- Mission: Honoring Maura's memory is our top priority by spreading awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Scholarship Opportunities
Providing scholarships for graduates of KP, Maura's alma mater, is a critical piece of the mission. Thank you so much for your participation.
