Event Overview

Join us for the second annual “Beat the Clock” race, a fun community event supporting all sports programs at Ashland High School (AHS) and Ashland Middle School (AMS) through the nonprofit Ashland Clocker Club. Learn more about the Clocker Club: www.clockerclub.org

Location Details

Set in historic Ashland, MA — a proud town along the Boston Marathon route — this 5K out-and-back course guides runners through scenic terrain featuring:

• Open Fields: Experience wide, open spaces perfect for running.
• Wooded Nature Trails: Enjoy a tranquil natural setting as you race.
• Paved Paths: Benefit from smooth, even surfaces throughout the course.
• Start/Finish Location: Both the start and finish are at Ashland Middle School.

A 1-mile fun run around the grassy school campus offers a great option for younger participants or those seeking a lighter challenge.

• Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Registration Opens: 8:00 AM

Registration Fees

Grades 5 and under:

• Pre-registration: $10
• Day-of: $15 (no shirt included)

General Registration:

• Early Registration: $35 (includes t-shirt if registered by October 6)
• Late Registration: $40 (October 7–26, no shirt)
• Day-of Registration: $45 (no shirt)
• T-Shirt Sizes: Adult S, M, L, XL

🏆 Top 3 male and female finishers will receive prizes, and age group medals will be awarded in the following categories:

• 18 & under
• 20–30
• 30–40
• 40+
