Military Heroes 5k/10k Run

🏅 Race Overview

Military Heroes Run is celebrating our 14th Annual Run. We raise much needed funds to support America's fighting service veterans who have suffered injuries while defending the freedoms which we all enjoy. We have raised and donated over $2.5 million in our 14 years of hosting this event. Thank you to all who have run with us, volunteered with us and for our amazing sponsors. 📍 Location for 2025

We are running in the Town of Westlake. Our event location is in the Solana Plaza and we will be running on the trail/path.

Parking: We will use a parking structure (garage B) and the south side of Garage B. There is NO parking at the event site, you need to park in the designated lot and walk across the street.

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

The 5k course is not certified and is closer to 3.4 miles.

• Course Description: The 5k course is a loop with some shade.
• 10k Route: The 10k course will follow the 5k until the 1 mile then branch off along the trail a different direction out and back, joining back with the 5k course.
• Terrain: The 10k is hilly with some shade.
• Chip-Timed Event: The 5k & 10k will be electronically timed by DoMore Race Services. All participants will be given a bib with a disposable chip attached.

🏅 Awards and Medals

• Finisher Medals: Finisher Medals for All.
• Age Group Awards: Age Group Awards for each Distance.
• Categories: There will be Overall M/F finishers, Master M/F finishers, and three deep for the 5K in categories for M/F from 9 and under to 80 and over.
• Master Age: The Master age is 40 and over.

👕 T-Shirt Guarantee

We guarantee the first 350 runners a race t-shirt. We have hit that mark. Anyone who signs up after August 2nd is NOT guaranteed a shirt. If we have shirts left over after everyone checks in on Saturday the 16th, they will be available for those who weren't able to get one before the run.
