Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Fourth Annual Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile Walk

Event Overview

Welcome to the Fourth Annual Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile walk/fun run event set for Saturday, December 12, 2026.

Fun for Everyone

• Participants: Grab the kids or dogs or both and join us for a fun morning run or walk.
• Costumes: Christmas Costumes are welcomed and encouraged (but not required).
• Dogs: Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and cleaned up after.

Registration Details

• Online Registration: Will end December 10, 2026 at 10:00 PM.
• Race Day Registration: In-person registration will be available on December 12 from 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM.
• Non-attorneys: If you are a non-attorney staff member, please select the "Staff Only" sign up options.

Race Information

• 5K Start Time: The 5K race will start at approximately 8:50 a.m.
• 1-Mile Walk Start Time: The 1-mile walk will begin at 8:55 a.m.
• Location: The start and finish will be at Camp Jordan Campground Pavilion located in Camp Jordan Park.
• Refreshments: Refreshments will be provided before and after the race.

Cause and Impact

Proceeds of this event will benefit the Chambliss Center for Children's ISAIAH 117 HOUSE mission which provides physical and emotional support for children awaiting foster care placement. ISAIAH 117 is an initiative organized by the Chambliss Center for Children, a local non-profit organization. You can learn more about this cause at isaiah117house.com.

Awards and Weather Policy

• Awards: Awards will be given to adults and children who place 1st for each gender in the 5K, as well as 1st place awards for children of each gender (up to 12 years old) in the 1 mile fun run.
• Event Status: The event will go on, rain or shine.
• Cancellation Policy: In the rare chance of dangerous weather, we will email all participants if cancelled.
