🧠 About the Race
The NAMI Oshkosh 5K for Mental Health & Suicide Awareness raises funds for NAMI Oshkosh and its programs. All of their services are free. NAMI's mission is to support, educate, and advocate for all affected by mental illness.
🎉 Event Purpose
This event provides a place to celebrate and honor those who are living with a mental health concern and remember those, with a mental health condition, who have died. Participants may sign up individually or as part of a team.
📅 Event Schedule
- Friday, May 2: Optional packet pickup, Oshkosh North from 5-7pm
- Saturday, May 3:
- 7:30-9:00am: Registration, information booths, team photos, mascots, activities, face painting, balloon art
- 9:00am: Program
- 9:30am: 5K begins
- After 5K: Free music, sandwiches, popcorn, cookies, drinks
