Course Features

• Breathtaking Views: Stunning vistas of Acadia National Park and Maine’s rocky coastline.
• Scenic Route: A spectacular course traveling on the scenic Acadia National Park Loop road.
• Size: Mount Desert Island is the third largest island on the eastern seaboard, encompassing 41,000 acres.
• National Park: Experience the Northeast’s only National Park, featuring an incredible array of mountains, sea, cliffs, and coastline.

Packet Pickup

• Important Note: There is NO RACE DAY packet pickup.

Environmental Commitment

• Sustainable Racing: The Mount Desert Island YMCA promotes environmentally conscious racing through Acadia National Park.
• Waste Reduction: Over 6000 paper cups were used per race in previous years.
• CUPLESS Event: For 2027, this is a CUPLESS event.
• Reusable Cups: All half marathon runners will receive a race branded, reusable silicon cup at bib pickup.

Hydration Options

• Personal Containers: Participants can bring their own reusable cup, handheld water bottle, or hydration pack.
• 10K Runners: Have the option to purchase a race branded, reusable silicon cup during registration if signing up before February 1.
