Race Overview
- Challenge: Can you finish before the Turkey?!
- Special Guest: A YMCA Staff member will be dressed as a Turkey and will receive a slight head start.
- Grand Prize: Catch the Turkey and be entered into the grand prize raffle.
- Bakery Raffle: Anyone who beats the Turkey will have their name entered into our raffle for one of Bartlett Bakery’s delicious creations!
Participation
- Walkers: Walkers are encouraged to participate!
- Number Pickup: Will be on Sunday, November 29 from 8:00-8:45 am at the Mount Desert Island YMCA.
- Capacity: This race is capped at 150 participants.
- Race Day Registration: If spots remain, registration will occur on November 29 from 8:00-8:45 am. Cost on Race Day is $30.
Important Notes
- Selling Out: This race sold out before race day last year.
- Park Pass: All participants 17 years and older need a park pass.
- Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit the Mount Desert Island YMCA.
- Thanksgiving Wish: Have a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving!
