Plogging Overview
Plogging is a combination of running or walking and picking up trash you see on your route. It is an up-and-coming fitness trend that brings variety to your workouts while helping to keep the environment clean and healthy. Boise Plogs is a fitness initiative for both the individual and the planet! Anyone can register for this event, no matter your ability, and plogging materials will be provided.
Event Details
- Choose Location: Choose a suggested neighborhood from the list below or choose your own location in the Treasure Valley (foothills, Meridian, greenbelt, school grounds, etc..) to plog during the week of April 18-24th.
- Time Suggestion: There is no time requirement but plogging for at least 30 minutes is suggested.
- Plogging Supplies: Pick up your plogging supplies and Boise Nice thank you swag TBD. An Email with information will be sent.
Prizes
There will be prizes for:
- Creative Team Names: Most creative team names.
- Unique Litter: Most unique/interesting piece of litter/trash.
- Litter Collected: Most litter picked up.
- MVP: Boise Plogs 2027 MVP.
