Please join us for our annual 5K Prairie Moon Pumpkin Fun Run!

• Date: 2026-10-24
• Location: Prairie Moon Waldorf School, Lawrence, KS
• Registration: Complete online until 9am on race day or onsite.
• T-shirt Deadline: Register by Oct 9th for a free race t-shirt.

Race Details

The 5K race begins and ends at Prairie Moon Waldorf School.

• Start Time: 5K starts at 9:30am.
• Raffle: Fire Pit raffle before the race: presence required to win.
• Entry Fee: $35 per person for ages 18+ (includes t-shirt).
• Youth Fee: $10 for ages 17 and younger (t-shirt option for $15).

Fun Run Information

Not up for a 5K? We have a < 1 mile fun run/obstacle course for younger ones.

• Start Time: Fun run starts at 10:30am.
• Course: Spirals toward a center finish area on school grounds.
• Change of Shoes: Grounds may be wet: consider bringing a change of shoes.
• T-shirt Option: Fun Run participants can add a shirt for $20.

Post Race Activities

Join us at post run for fun activities!

• Activities: Pumpkin painting, chess, games, coffee, and baked goods.
• Timing: Officially timed but not certified.
• Course: Runs along gravel road (1600 Rd) to Mud Creek levee trail and back.
• Strollers: Welcome but sturdy tires needed for gravel road.

Prizes and Donations

There will be prizes for top finishers!

• Prize Donations: Donated by Garmin and local stores.
• Raffle Tickets: Automatic entry for 5K participants: additional tickets available for $10 each.
• Packet Pick-up: At Fleet Feet Lawrence on Oct 23rd from 3-6 pm or on race day from 8:30-9:15 am.
• Donations: Donate through the registration process or by clicking the donation tab.
