• Date: September 27th
• Location: Lisle Community Park, 1825 Short Street, Lisle, IL
• 5K Start: 8:00 AM
• Walk Start: 9:30 AM
• Rescue Fest: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Closes at 4PM CST on September 26th
• On Site Registration: Available for all events
• Rescue Run 5k: $50
• Waggin' Tails Walk - individual: $20
• Waggin' Tails Walk - family: $30
• Rescue Fest entry: $20 per car

Packet Pickup (5K & Walk Only)

• Friday: September 25th from 1PM-6PM
• Saturday: September 26th from 11AM-4PM
• Location: West Suburban Humane Society, 1901 W Ogden Ave, Downers Grove, IL
• Event Day Pickup: Starting at 7AM

About the Cause

• Annual Intake: Approximately 6.3 million dogs & cats enter US Shelters annually.
• Euthanasia Statistics: 15% (920,000) are euthanized each year.
• History: Founded in 1972, more than 31,000 animals have found homes.
• Mission: Ensure all dogs and cats are loved and cared for.

Event Activities

Rescue Run: A 5K chip-timed walk/run with awards, performance fit shirt, and finisher medal.

Waggin' Tails Walk: A 1 mile walk for families and pets, eligible for costume awards.

Rescue Fest: Full day of activities including Food Trucks, Pet Contests, Rescue Groups, Agility Training, and more.

Volunteer Fundraisers

Incentives: Raise $100 or more to receive free entry into Rescue Fest, an event t-shirt, and additional fundraising incentives.

Pet Contest: Register dogs for free in categories when signing up for events.

Dog show registration can be selected at no cost during registration.

All proceeds from this event benefit the West Suburban Humane Society, and all participants are encouraged to customize their fundraising page for donations to help dogs and cats.
