About this race
Race Overview
Come experience our original trail race! Cliffs of the Neuse State Park's 7th spring trail race! We will have 4ish and 8ish mile distances as well as a 4ish mile hike option. Also a 25k and a 50k ULTRA distance!
Start/Finish Area
- Location: START/FINISH AREA AT THE BIG PICNIC SHELTER WITH REAL PARKING AND REAL BATHROOMS!
- Course: The course will start and finish at the big picnic shelter by the lake parking lot.
- Trail Type: Mostly beautiful single and double track with a short section of gravel road.
- Features: Significant elevation change and views of the river and lake.
Parking
Everyone will park in the large lot by the lake.
Race Schedule
- 50k/25k: Will start at 9:00a, check in from 8:00a to 8:45a.
- Other Distances: Will start at 9:30a, check in from 8:15a to 9:15a.
- Kids Hike: Kids 5 and under can participate in the hike for free as long as they are accompanied by a registered guardian.
- Registration Deadline: Online registration ends March 18th.
Post-Race Amenities
As always we will have delicious cookies and a small meal waiting at the finish line! (gluten free and plant based of course)
