North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the annual North Dakota State Fair Run the Route 5K on July 18th and kick off the day with a fun run along the parade route!

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Registration will be open online until 08:00am on 7/18/2026.
• Race Day Registration: Available the morning of the event at the Our Redeemers packet pickup location (see below).

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Friday, July 17th: Roosevelt Park Zoo from 4:30pm - 7:00pm.
• Saturday, July 18th: Our Redeemers from 7:30am - 8:30am.

💲 Entry Fee

• Ages 13 and up: $25 through June 30th, $30 in July.
• Children 8-12: $15 through June 30th, $20 in July.
• Children 7 and under: Free.

⏰ Starting Time & Locations

• Start Time: 8:45am 7/18/2026.
• Start Location: Our Redeemers Church (South Hill Sports Complex).
• Finish Line: Burdick Expy at the State Fair Gate E Entrance.
• Parking: Parking will be available at the Our Redeemers Church parking lot.

* All participants will be responsible for own transportation to starting lines and from finish.

🎽 Additional Information

• T-shirt Guarantee: Participants must register by July 4th to guarantee a Run the Route T-shirt.
• Admission Ticket: All runners receive an admission ticket to the State Fair on completion of the 5K.
• Awards: Concert tickets and trophies will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers.
• Small Awards: Given to the top male and female in various categories: Under 12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

💖 Community Contribution

A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to children's running groups/programs in our community (BIOGirls, Strides for Sunnyside, etc.)
