North Shore Trail Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the sixth annual North Shore Trail Run in beautiful Spring Lake! We will be running in the beautiful trails at Coast Guard Park in North Ottawa Dunes - Ferrysburg, MI. First 150 people to sign up this year will get a FREE pair of trail running socks!!

💰 Benefiting Local Nonprofits

This year, proceeds will once again go to our great local Grand Haven nonprofits:

• Love in Action (LIA): Supports community members in need.
• Chariots of Fire Youth Running Club: Encourages youth to engage in running.
• Ferrysburg Fire Barn Park: Helping with community park improvements.

🏅 Race Schedule

We will have 3 great races this year:

• 10K Run: 8:15a Start
• 2K Kids Fun Run: 9:25a Start (This Event is Free for Kids!! -- Halloween Costume's Encouraged!!)
• 5K Run/Hike/Walk: 10:00a Start

🥇 Race Details

Try one or try the 10K/5K Combo... if you think you can finish the 10K in 1 hour and 45 minutes, then you will get back in line for the 5K at 10a!!! Race Start will be at the tennis courts in the park. Trail Map info about each race is attached below.

• Finisher Vegdal: All racers will receive a limited-edition Finisher Veggie Medal AKA "Vegdal" - Silent D :-) -- This will be a locally grown pie pumpkin from our friends at Mellema Farms.

Also, Chariots of Fire is a local running club for kids. They encourage and train young boys and girls to run, and help to develop them into men and women. Our support will help them keep the great running program going. Chariots of Fire Facebook Page

📅 Race Regulations

As this is a Non-Profit Trail Run, we will not offer any refunds as all money goes back to our great community. Please NO use of headphones during the race. Being this is a trail race, with some single track parts, we need to keep runners safe, and headphones make it hard to pass and communicate with fellow runners. Thanks for understanding!

🎟️ Packet/Bib Pick-up

Will be Friday, October 3rd from 4p - 6p at Coast Guard Park (at the pavilion - located at the North East corner of the park). You can also pick up your packet/bib on race day starting at 7a on Saturday, October 4th.
