Brick City Run Club - Turkey Trot

Join us for a free, fun, and active Thanksgiving morning with the Brick City Run Club, the City of Newark and Newark City Parks Foundation! This run and walk isn’t a race—it’s a community celebration of movement, connection, and gratitude. All distances are 1 mile, whether you want to run your fastest or enjoy a walk with family.  You must register to participate.  

While this event is completely free, we ask that you bring non-perishable food items or toiletries to donate.  We will be collecting these items to share with those less fortune during this holiday season.

All participants will receive a custom commemorative race bib and refreshment.  T-Shirts and other giveaways will be avaliable on a first come, first serve basis.    

This event is proudly supported by the Newark City Parks Foundation. All are welcome—come move with us before the feast!

Check-in begins at 8:00 am.  Please arrive early.  The run and walk begin at 9:00 am and you must be checked-in and registered to participate.  

Parking is limited, so we encourage you to walk, carpool and uses public transportation.
