Novant Health Lake Norman 15K & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

We’ll see you up at the lake for the Novant Health Lake Norman 15k and 5k runs! These are some of our favorite courses in the Charlotte area. Choose from a fun, family-friendly 5k with just a few turns, or a 15k that stretches out across the fingers of the peninsula – it’s a beautiful thing. Either way, you’ll be glad you got up to run with us.

• Shirt Guarantee: Guarantee your Recover Brands shirt by registering before 9/6/2026.
• Shirt Policy: Every participant will receive a long-sleeve shirt while supplies last. No size switching allowed!
• Kids Kilometer shirts: 100% cotton for the little runners.
• Registration Fees: Non-refundable and non-transferable.

🏆 Awards & Recognition

Age group and overall winners will be recognized at the post-event awards ceremony, to be held approximately 30 minutes after the first finisher. Please note, we do not ship unclaimed awards.

• Categories: Overall, Masters, 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.

🐶 Course Guidelines

• Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on the course for safety reasons.
• Strollers or Baby Joggers: Bring ‘em! All baby jogger pushers will start with the main group.
• Awards for Strollers: There is no awards category for strollers or baby joggers.

🚑 Medical and Safety

• Medical Emergencies: Medical services at the start/finish line are provided by our partners at Novant Health.
• On-Course Emergencies: Alert an event volunteer and call 9-1-1 if needed.
• First Aid Availability: First aid assistance will be available at the event.

💧 Facilities and Amenities

• Water Stops: Water will be available at designated stops along the course.
• Restrooms: Porta-Potties will be set up at the start/finish area.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

Events will be held rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe by Run Charlotte in conjunction with public safety and medical partners. Cancellation due to inclement weather will not constitute a refund or transfer. Run Charlotte reserves the right to alter, cancel, or eliminate any parts of this event.
