Community Matters Cafe

• Purpose: Community Matters Cafe serves more than coffee and food... it's a place to restore hope.
• Connection: The cafe serves as an extension program of Charlotte Rescue Mission, a nonprofit organization that provides free, residential recovery services to men and women struggling with substance abuse and homelessness.

Life Skills Program

• Transition Opportunity: Graduates of Charlotte Rescue Mission's 120-day recovery program have the opportunity to transition back into the community through the Community Matters Cafe Life Skills Program.
• Program Duration: This 6-month extension initiative addresses topics such as conflict resolution, expressing concerns, and healthy ways to cope with conflict and stress.
• Support: The program covers all housing and transportation expenses during this time.
