Join us on Saturday, October 9, 2027, for another exciting race day at Bit of Hope Ranch!

Whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a walk with friends, or cheering on our youngest racers, there's something for everyone!

Experience a certified 5K trail run through our beautiful 50-acre horse ranch in southern Gaston County, NC. Participants can also enjoy our 2K Walk or Half-Pint Run for children ages 10 and under.

Race Day Schedule
7:30 AM – Gates open, race bib pickup, and walk-up registration begin
8:30 AM – Half-Pint Run (ages 10 and under)
9:00 AM – 5K Trail Run begins
Shortly After 9:00 AM – 2K Walk begins, once runners have cleared the starting area
Approximately 10:00 AM – Awards, Medal Ceremony & Door Prize Giveaways (beginning once the final participant has returned from the course)

Stick around for some awesome giveaways! We'll be drawing for door prizes during our awards and medal ceremony. You must be present to win, so don't head out early!

Registration Fees:

• 5K Trail Run: $35 ($30 early registration through August 31)
• 2K Walk: $35 ($30 early registration through August 31)
• Half-Pint Run: $15

Online registration is highly encouraged! While walk-up registration will be available beginning at 7:30 AM on race day, registering in advance helps us ensure a smooth and organized experience for everyone.

Important Race Day Information

• Rain or Shine: This event will take place rain or shine. The race may be delayed or canceled in the event of lightning or other dangerous weather conditions.
• Race Bib Pickup: Begins at 7:30 AM on race day. There is no advance packet pickup.
• Race Shirts & Runner Bags: Complimentary race T-shirts and runner bags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis on race day, while supplies last.
• No Dogs Permitted: As an active, working horse ranch, dogs are not permitted on the property for the safety of our animals, participants, and guests.
• No Strollers Permitted: Due to the natural terrain, uneven trails, and elevation changes throughout the course, strollers are not permitted on the racecourse.
