About this race
Ready to make a difference while enjoying an unforgettable cycling experience? Join us for the 38 th Annual Gator Ride, where your pedals have the power to change lives!
This year’s ride takes you on an incredible journey over the iconic Fred Hartman Bridge, offering breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Monument, plus a ride on the historic Lynchburg Ferry. Not quite the route for you? No worries, our 33 and 53 routes offer thrills without quite so many chills.
Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just looking for a great cause to support, this ride is for you!
But this isn't just about the ride; it's about putting your pedals to the metal and your dollars to good use. Every mile you cover helps us step closer to ending hunger in our community. Your participation and support will provide essential meals and resources for those in need.
As an MS150 Additional Training Ride, bikemstexas150.org, you need to schedule this event. The courses are 33, 43, 53, and 63 miles. There is even a 6-mile family ride!
All proceeds from the Gator Ride, Gear Up to End Hunger, will go toward our Annual Campaign. Food is a basic need for survival, and too many families in our community need food assistance. Hearts and Hands of Baytown is leading the fight to address food insecurity by providing access to fresh, healthy food via our six-pillar programs. In all our endeavors, we work to remove the stigma of needing food and give clients opportunities to work toward self-sufficiency.
With support like yours, we can provide food for families in a dignified, supportive way while expanding services through collaborative partnerships to eradicate hunger and address its underlying causes. All proceeds from the event go directly back into our community.
Our number one priority for all rides is safety. All riders must wear an assigned number bib to prove their registration. We do our best to provide as much help as possible along all routes with First Aid responders, volunteer marshals, SAG drivers, and Rest Stop crews. We can only be responsible for those registered with their assigned bib number. All riders must wear a helmet.
