Pumpkin Run 10K, 5K & 1Mile

🎃 Race Overview

Join us on Saturday, October 10th for our 40th Anniversary PUMPKIN RUN 10K, 5K &: 1Mile run/walk event through the beautiful Lynn Creek Park surrounded by Joe Pool Lake.

• Event Highlights: Enjoy a FREE pancake breakfast, a special warm-up activity, face painting, pumpkin decorating, vendors, and more!
• Charity Proceeds: Proceeds are donated to local charities, such as Grand Prairie United Charities, Children First, Lifeline for Families, Relay for Life, HUHH, TD Foundation, and other local charities that support our community!
• School Participation: Local K-12 schools welcome - make it a Fundraiser!

⏰ Timing and Logistics

We encourage all attendees to be on time.

Once the 1 mile race starts, Lynn Creek gates will be CLOSED at 8AM and OPENED ONLY AFTER the last race has finished and runners are off the course. Please note that the 1 mile is UNTIMED.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP LOCATION:

PICK UP DAYS: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 AND FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9 FROM 4PM - 7PM EACH EVENING.

Location: At the Registration table under the BIG white tent

TIME: beginning at 6:45 am

🏃‍♂️ Race Options

NEW THIS YEAR:

• 5K: TIMED OR UNTIMED. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE WHEN REGISTERING.
• 10K: RUN ONLY
• Start Times: The 10K and 5K will have a staggered start. 10K starts at 8:30 AM and 5K starts at 9:00.
• Park Gates: The gates CLOSE at 8am and do not reopen until after the 5K/10K ends.

• Top 3: Male and Female for the following - 5K Female, 5K Male, 10K Female, 10K Male
• AGE GROUP DIVISIONS: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, over 60

⚠️ Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

• Extreme Weather: The start time of this event may be delayed by up to a half hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect participants.
• Unsafe Conditions: If conditions turn into lightning, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled.
• Director Discretion: Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.
