Pumpkin Run 10K, 5K & 1Mile

Race Overview

Join us on Saturday, October 10th for our 40th Anniversary PUMPKIN RUN 10K, 5K &: 1Mile run/walk event through the beautiful Lynn Creek Park surrounded by Joe Pool Lake.

Event Activities

Enjoy a FREE pancake breakfast, a special warm-up activity, face painting, pumpkin decorating, vendors, and more!

• Proceeds: Donated to local charities like Grand Prairie United Charities, Children First, Lifeline for Families, and Relay for Life.
• K-12 Schools: Local schools are welcome to participate as a fundraiser.
• Gates Closed: Lynn Creek gates will be closed at 8 am and opened only after the last race has finished.
• Untimed 1 Mile: Please note that the 1 mile is un-timed.

Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Days are Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9 from 4 PM - 7 PM at Epic Nutrition, 3154 S SH 161 Frontage Road, Suite 630, Grand Prairie 75052.
• Race Day Pickup: Location is at the registration table under the BIG white tent starting at 6:45 am.
• Timed Options: The 5K race can be timed or un-timed. Make the right choice when registering.
• Staggered Start: 10K starts at 8:30 am and 5K starts at 9:00 am.

T-Shirt Information

Deadline: T-shirt deadline is September 25 to guarantee a Pumpkin Run free t-shirt.

Event Etiquette

Feel free to bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc., to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

Park entry is FREE.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Male and Female Overall winners.
• Top 3 Male and Female: Categories for 5K and 10K.
• Age Group Divisions: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, over 60.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• No Refund: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold.
• Start Delays: Event may be delayed in extreme weather conditions.
• Safety First: Event may be canceled if conditions become unsafe.
• Packet Information: If unable to participate, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal.
