Pumpkin Run 10K, 5K & 1 Mile

Join us on Saturday, October 10th for our 40th Anniversary PUMPKIN RUN 10K, 5K &: 1Mile run/walk event through the beautiful Lynn Creek Park surrounded by Joe Pool Lake.

• Free Breakfast: Enjoy a FREE pancake breakfast.
• Activities: Participate in a special warm-up activity, face painting, pumpkin decorating, vendors, and more!
• Charity Support: Proceeds donated to local charities, such as Grand Prairie United Charities, Children First, Lifeline for Families, and more!
• Schools Welcome: Local K-12 schools are encouraged to make it a fundraiser!

Important Timing Information

We encourage all attendees to be on time. Once the 1 mile race starts, Lynn Creek gates will be CLOSED at 8AM and OPENED ONLY AFTER the last race has finished and runners are off the course.

• Untimed 1 Mile: Please note that the 1 mile is UNTIMED and will NOT have race bibs.
• Race Location: Lynn Creek Park, 5610 Lake Ridge Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Start Time: 8am
• Early Packet Pickup: Pick up days on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9 from 4PM - 7PM at Epic Nutrition.

Race Day Details

Location: At the Registration table under the BIG white tent

Time: Beginning at 6:45 am

• Race Timings: 10K is run only and all runners will be timed.
• Staggered Start: 10K starts at 8:30 AM and 5K starts at 9:00 AM.
• Park Gates: Note: The park gates CLOSE at 8am and do not reopen until after the 5K/10K ends.
• T-Shirt Deadline: T-shirt deadline is September 25 to guarantee a Pumpkin Run free t-shirt.

Encouragement and Participation

Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to encourage and cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

Park entry is FREE.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Male and Female Overall
• Top 3 Male and Female: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for 5K and 10K.
• Age Group Divisions: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, over 60

Refund/Cancellation Policy

• No Refund Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold.
• Event Delays: In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed.
• Event Cancellations: The event may be cancelled if conditions become unsafe.
• Packet Pickup: If you are unable to participate, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal.
