PVFD Cheat River Triathlon

The 6th Annual Parsons VFD Cheat River Triathlon

The event will be on May 16, 2026.

Course Overview

• Starting Point: Mill Race Park in Parsons
• Run Distance: 3.9 miles to Hendricks Park
• Kayak/Canoe Distance: 3+ miles back to Mill Race Park
• Biking Distance: 7-mile round trip to Hendricks Park

2K Walk Details

• Location: Mill Race Park walking track
• Start/Finish Line: Same as Triathlon
• Engagement: Open to all participants
• Participation: Great for families

Beneficiary

• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit the Parsons Volunteer Fire Department
• Support: Contribute to local community safety

Safety Regulations

• Required Gear: PFDs (Life Jackets), Helmets, and Whistles on the river
• Helmet Rule: Bicycle helmets required on the bike portion
