Support our Hope for Youth’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS)

Hope For Youth’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS) provides Basic Center Programming, which is funded through the Family and Youth Services Bureau, a division of the US Administration for Children and Families and the Department of Health and Human Services.

Program Overview

• Service Population: Youth aged 12-17
• Engagement: Interaction through safety screenings and needs assessments
• Aftercare: Transportation and continued care coordination post discharge
• Initial Support: Intensive services for the first 21 days in shelter

Essential Services Provided

• Safe Shelter: A secure environment for youth
• Case Management: Assistance managing individual needs
• Counseling: Individual and family mediation services
• Transportation: Help in accessing resources and services

Additional Resources

• Food: Provision of meals
• Clothing: Support with clothing needs
• Survival Aid: Essential aid packages provided
• Educational Support: Advocacy for continued education

Health and Development Services

• Medical Care: Coordination and referrals for medical needs
• Community Linkages: Connecting to other resources
• Life Skills: Development programs for independent living
• Positive Development: Support for social and emotional growth
