🏃‍♂️ Support our Hope for Youth's Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS)

Hope For Youth’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Program (RHYS) provides Basic Center Programming, which is funded through the Family and Youth Services Bureau, a division of the US Administration for Children and Families and the Department of Health and Human Services.

🌟 Expanding Our Reach Through Services

These services have been added to our continuum of care in order to expand our reach. RHYS Staff provide services to youth 12-17 from engaging with them on the street and community settings through safety screenings and needs assessments and providing aftercare services. Transportation and continued care coordination post discharge from our RHYS programming are available.

• Initial Care: Intensive services for the first 21 days a youth resides in our RHY Shelter Program.
• Trauma-Informed: RHYS Staff maintain a trauma-informed milieu while providing essential services.
• Goal Support: Supporting youth to achieve their goals.

🏠 When a Young Person is in Need of a Safe Haven, We Will Provide:

• Safe Shelter: Ensuring a secure environment.
• Case Management Services: Coordinated support tailored to individual needs.
• Transportation: Providing mobility to various programs.
• Food: Nutritional support available.

• Clothing: Essential clothing items provided.
• Survival Aid Packages: Basic necessities for well-being.
• Educational Assistance: Advocacy for youth education.
• Medical Care Coordination: Health services and referrals.

• Community Linkages: Connecting youth to other resources.
• Living Skills Development: Essential life skills training.
• Aftercare: Continued support following initial services.
• Positive Youth Development: Fostering growth and healthy development.
