Event Overview

The 2026 Run For The Trail 7K Run and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 starting at the Ghost Town Trail Access at Dilltown, Pennsylvania. The race benefits Indiana County Parks and Trails.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available through 11:59 PM on August 7th.
• Race Day Registration: Open from 4:00 to 5:45 PM at the Dilltown pavilion.
• Family Discounts: Available for families of three or more.

• T-Shirt Provider: Soft style t-shirts provided compliments of InFirst Bank.
• Shirt Guarantee: Shirts guaranteed to those who register by July 28th.
• Availability: Shirts available after that date and on race day as supplies last.

New Features for 2026

• Chip Timing: Chip timing by Gingerbread Timing for the 7K Run.
• Live Results: Results will be uploaded to RunSignUp every 30 seconds during the race.

Awards and Prizes

• Top Prizes: Local Artisan-made Wooden Train Engines to Top Three Overall Male & Female, Top Male & Female Masters in the 7K courtesy of Tad Pajak, Tall Pine Safety.
• Age Group Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Railroad Spikes to Top Three Male & Female Five-year Age Group Winners up to Age 70+.
• Age Groups: Include 12 and Under, 15 to 15, 16 to 19, and then five-year age groups up to and including 70+ in the 7K.

Fun Run/Walk Incentives

• Gift Card Drawing: 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk Finishers are eligible to win one of up to five gift cards donated by local vendors.
• Drawing Timing: Gift Card Drawing will take place during the race.
• Encouragement to Register Early: The more pre-registered entries, the more gift cards for the drawing.
• Timing: Timing by A.T.S. with results posted on the IRRC web site within 24 hours.
