Run For The Trail 7K Run and 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Event Overview

The 2026 Run For The Trail 7K Run and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 starting at the Ghost Town Trail Access at Dilltown, Pennsylvania. The race benefits Indiana County Parks and Trails.

Registration Details

• Online Registration: Available through 11:59 PM on August 7th.
• Race Day Registration: Open from 4:00 to 5:45 on race day at the Dilltown pavilion.
• Discounted Rates: Available for families of three or more.

Participant Information

• T-shirts: Soft style t-shirts provided compliments of InFirst Bank. Shirts guaranteed to those who register by July 28th. Shirts available after that date and on race day as supplies last.
• New for 2026: Chip timing by Gingerbread Timing for the 7K Run: live results will be uploaded to RunSignUp every 30 seconds during the race.

Awards and Prizes

• Overall Winners: Local artisan-made wooden train engines to Top Three Overall Male & Female, Top Male & Female Masters in the 7K, courtesy of Tad Pajak, Tall Pine Safety.
• Age Group Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Railroad Spikes to Top Three Male & Female Five-year Age Group Winners up to Age 70+.
• Age Groups: Include 12 and Under, 15 to 15, 16 to 19, and five-year age groups up to and including 70+ in the 7K.
• Fun Run/Walk Prizes: 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk Finishers are eligible to win one of up to five gift cards donated by local vendors. Gift Card Drawing will take place during the race.

Additional Information

• Gift Card Drawing: The more pre-registered entries, the more gift cards for the drawing. Register early.
• Timing: By A.T.S., with results posted on the IRRC website within 24 hours.
• Post-Race Treats: Ice cream treats following the race compliments of Allied Milk Producers.
