Run The Land - East vs. West

Training for the Cleveland Marathon or Glass City? Feeling bored with winter and want a little challenge? Or just generally a big fan of runs that finish with a craft beer? This is a great opportunity to have a fully supported long run. This is East Side vs West Side. This is a chance to Run The Land.

About this Race

Aid Stations: Every 3 miles for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 20 Mile courses.
Event Type: This is a RULES OF THE ROAD event.
Course Highlights: Courses highlighting Cleveland and surrounding suburbs with minimal crossings.
Timing: Runners will be timed using a Chronotrack B Tag Timing Chip and RaceJoy.

This is More Than a Run

This is a hybrid, in-person marathon designed by runners, for runners, and giving back to Greater Cleveland charities. This run is great for many reasons: the swag is awesome, the run is tracked and timed on a fully marked course, and most importantly, the funds get pumped right back into the community to help nonprofits that directly service C-L-E. We are putting our best foot forward on this one to put on an exciting run that will bring a positive impact to the greater Cleveland area.

Race Weekend Timeline

Friday, April 9, 2027: Packet Pick-up at Great Lakes Brewing Company from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Saturday, April 10, 2027: Packet Pick-up at Great Lakes Brewery starting at 7:30 AM.
Early Start: 7:30 AM for Full marathon & 20-mile only (MUST pick up packet on Friday).
Race Waves: Full Marathon & 20 Mile waves at 8:00 AM, Half wave at 9:15 AM, 10k wave at 10:00 AM, 5k wave at 10:15 AM.

Aid Station 1: Ready Set Coffee - Closes at 2:15 PM.
Aid Station 2: Lakewood Park - Closes at 1:30 PM.
Aid Station 3: 2nd Sole - Closes at 12:45 PM.
Aid Station 4: Rockport UMC - Closes at 11:05 AM.
Aid Station 5: Tyler Field/Soccer Field - Closes at 12:00 PM.
Aid Station 6: Simmons Park - Closes at 10:45 AM.

Charities are runner nominated. All eligible charities will be listed on the donation page and runners may select them at registration. The charity you choose will directly benefit from you selecting it during the registration process. Become a benefiting charity by contacting us or by signing up as a runner and nominating one! All charities must be 501(c)(3) approved.

East vs West

Clevelander's will say that you don’t cross the river when you live in Cleveland. So we are putting that friendly rivalry to the test with the East vs West Challenge. Select your party at check out (don’t worry, you can still run whichever course you prefer). The winning team will earn bragging rights for the year!
