Training for the Cleveland Marathon or Glass City? Feeling bored with winter and want a little challenge? Or just generally a big fan of runs that finish with a craft beer? This is a great opportunity to have a fully supported long run. This is East Side vs West Side. This is a chance to Run The Land.

📅 About the Run

• Aid Stations: Aid stations will be every 3 miles for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 20 Mile courses.
• Rules: This is a RULES OF THE ROAD event. Runners, walkers, and ruckers must stay on the sidewalk & follow traffic laws.
• Courses: We have courses highlighting Cleveland and a few of the surrounding suburbs. The courses will have minimal crossings and are easy to follow.
• Timing: Runners will be timed using a Chronotrack B Tag Timing Chip and RaceJoy, a GPS tracking app, that will alert you if you are off course and give you an official finish time.

🎉 This is more than a run

This is a hybrid, in-person marathon designed by runners, for runners, and giving back to Greater Cleveland charities. This run is great for many reasons: the swag is awesome, the run is tracked and timed on a fully marked course, and most importantly, the funds get pumped right back into the community to help nonprofits that directly service C-L-E. We are putting our best foot forward on this one to put on an exciting run that will bring a positive impact to the greater Cleveland area.

🗓️ Race Weekend Timeline

• Friday, April 10, 2026: Packet Pick-up at Great Lakes Brewery Lakewood from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
• Saturday, April 11, 2026: Packet Pick-up at Great Lakes Brewery starting at 7:30 am.
• 8:30 AM: Full Marathon wave.
• 8:45 AM: 20 Mile wave.
• 9:15 AM: Half wave.
• 10:00 AM: 10k wave.
• 10:15 AM: 5k wave.

• Post-run: Post-run beer from Great Lakes Brewery.
• Pint glass: Pint glass!
• Drink ticket: (worth $5.00, which can be used at these establishments).
• Runner Bib: Runner Bib and timing chip.
• Timing: Timed, live run on a marked course.
• Aid stations: Aid stations will be available.
• Charity: Pick the charity you want your funds to benefit.
• Optional: Run anytime with the virtual option.
• Optional - Club Members: Cleveland Road Runners Club Members will receive a $5 credit to their charity choice.

Charities are runner nominated. All eligible charities will be listed on the donation page and runners may select them at registration. The charity you choose will directly benefit from you selecting it during the registration process. Become a benefiting charity by contacting us or by signing up as a runner and nominating one! All charities must be 501(c)(3) approved.

🌉 East vs West

Clevelander's will say that you don't cross the river when you live in Cleveland. So we are putting that friendly rivalry to the test with the East vs West Challenge. Select your party at check out {don't worry, you can still run whichever course you prefer}. The winning team will earn bragging rights for the year!
