Race Overview
Run the Vineyards race series returns to this picturesque, beautiful setting for the 6th year! Celebrate your love of the outdoors, running, and wine at the Federal Twist Vineyard!
Race Distances
- Options: Choose between 5K and 10K distances.
- Course: Mixture of roads, vineyard trail, and the beautiful D&R Canal Trail.
- After-party: Continues all day!
- Experience: Enjoy time with friends & family with live music and delicious handcrafted wine in a relaxed rural setting.
Race Features
- Timing: Chip-timed with instant results. Race start times: 9:00 AM for 10K and 9:05 AM for 5K.
- Shirts: High-quality custom tech shirt included. Women’s, Men’s/unisex and youth tees or upgrade to Women’s Racerback Tank Top for $5 extra. Men's Tanks optional for no added fee. Please register by Sept. 6 to guarantee your first choice.
- Wine: Complimentary Glass of Wine for all participants (21+).
- Finishers: "Run the Vineyards" Stemless Wine Glass for all finishers.
- Medals: Souvenir Finisher Medals available for $8 during registration, or $10 on race day.
Other Race Highlights
- Support: Water stations, friendly course volunteers, water and bananas at the finish line.
- Celebration: Post-race celebration with live music. Spectators welcome. Additional wine available for purchase.
- Food: Available for purchase at the after-party.
- Photos: Free downloadable race photos. Professional photographer on staff.
- Awards: For Top 3 Overall and Age group Female & Male Winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and every 10 yrs).
- Walkers: 5K Walkers and children welcome. 1 Hour Time limit kindly requested. Registration required for safety. Special pricing for children during registration (wine ticket not included for minors).
- Packet Pickup: Race Day @ 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent. Arrive before 8:30 AM to check-in.
- Weather: Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.
