Shandon Neighborhood Council is excited to announce the Shandon Turkey Trot and Burn 5K 2026.

Participation

• Who Can Join: Runners and walkers are welcome!
• Benefits: Proceeds benefit The Shandon Neighborhood Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
• Community Impact: Funds will be used for improvements in the historical neighborhood.
• Course Certification: The race features a USA Track & Field certified course.

Fun and Creativity

• Costume Contest: Participants are encouraged to dress in creative Thanksgiving Turkey Burn attire.
• Prizes: Awards for the top ten most creative outfits!
• Community Spirit: Join us to trot and burn with your flock!
• Family Friendly: Bring your family and friends!

Important Notes

• No Refunds or Deferrals: The race will occur rain or shine.
• Strollers & Dogs: Both are welcome if on a leash.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to race time.
• Late Arrivals: Participants not present at the official start time will not be allowed to start late.

Shirt Information

• Shirt Deadline: Register by November 3rd to be guaranteed a shirt.
• Extras: Extra shirts will be ordered, but availability is not guaranteed after the deadline.
• Pickup Policy: Shirts must be picked up before the race or on race day: none will be mailed.
• Last Minute: No holds for shirt pick up after the race has occurred.
