Sleighbells on the Square 5K, 1K & Tot Trot
Event Details
- Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
- Location: Marietta Square
- Qualifying Race: 5K is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier and USATF Certified.
- Family-Friendly: This event for the whole family takes place on the Marietta Square where the races will start and finish. Festive holiday attire is encouraged. Strollers and dogs are allowed.
Proceeds
- Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the Cobb County Bar's Children’s Emergency Fund, a 501c3.
- Fund Purpose: The Children’s Emergency Fund provides emergency grants to Cobb County households facing financial emergencies or crises.
- Support Provided: Assistance includes support for utility bills, clothing, medicine, and housing.
- Goal: Helping local families get back on track.
Registration Benefits
- Included Items: Long sleeve T-shirt for all races. See Packet Pickup below.
- Timing: 5K race is electronically timed: it is USATF Certified.
- Medals: Custom medal for 5K Race: Top 3 (M & F) Overall, Top 3 Overall Masters, Top 3 in each of the usual age groups 10 & Under to 75+.
Race Day Events
- Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
- 5K Start: 8:00 am (chip-timed AJC Peachtree Qualifying Race)
- 1K Start: Approximately 9:10 am
- Tot Trot Start: Approximately 9:20 am
- Awards Ceremony: Starts at 9:30 am
Virtual 5K Option
- Participation: Complete the 5K anytime anywhere: simply run or walk when you can.
- Locations: Neighborhood, favorite trail, or even on a treadmill!
Cost
- Registration: Includes long sleeve T-shirt. Register on or before December 2, 2025, to be guaranteed T-shirt.
- 5K, 1K Costs: $30 Youth until November 21, $35 November 22 - December 12, $40 on Race day.
- Adult Costs: $35 Adult until November 21, $40 November 22 - December 12, $45 on Race day.
- Tot Trot: $10 until November 21, $15 November 22 - Race day.
Referral Program
- Get Friends: Get 5 FRIENDS to sign up for a refund of $10.00.
- Method: Using your unique referral link after registration.
School Contest
- Eligibility: School with most participants. Family and friends can participate.
- Prizes: 1st: $750, 2nd: $500, 3rd: $250.
Packet Pickup
- Pre-Race Pickup: Friday, December 12, 2025, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at Big Peach Running Co., Kennesaw.
- Race Day Pickup: Saturday, December 13, 2025, starts at 7:15 am at Marietta Square.
- T-Shirts: Will not be mailed.
