Race Certification

• Qualifying: 5K is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier
• Certification: USATF Certified

Event Description

• Family Friendly: This event for the whole family takes place on the Marietta Square where the races will start and finish.
• Encouragement: Festive holiday attire is encouraged.
• Accessibility: Strollers and dogs are allowed.

Beneficiary

• Proceeds: Benefit the Cobb County Bar's Children’s Emergency Fund, a 501c3.
• Fund Purpose: Provides emergency grants to Cobb County households facing financial emergencies or crises.
• Support Areas: Assistance includes utility bills, clothing, medicine, and housing.

Included with Registration

• T-Shirt: Long sleeve T-shirt for all races. See Packet Pickup below.
• Timing: 5K race is electronically timed.
• Medals: Custom medal for 5K Race for various categories.
• Awards Ceremony: Starts at 9:30 am.

• 1K Start: Approximately 9:10 am
• Tot Trot Start: Approximately 9:20 am

Virtual 5K

• Flexibility: Complete the 5K anytime anywhere. Run or walk in your neighborhood or favorite trail.

Cost Details

• 5K, 1K:
  • $30 Youth: until November 21
  • $35 Adult: until November 21
  • $40: Race day, December 12
• Tot Trot: $10 until November 21, $15 Race day, December 12
• Virtual 5K: $35 until November 21, $40 Race day, December 12

Referral Program

• Benefit: Get 5 FRIENDS to sign up for a refund of $10.00.
• Process: Use your unique referral link to automatically receive after registration.

School Contest

• Participation: School with most participants, family and friends can contribute.
• Prizes: 1st: $750, 2nd: $500, 3rd: $250

Beat the Bell Contest

• Challenge: Win $250 by racing against the Sleighbells Running Bell.
• Eligibility: Only registered participants can enter.
• Registration: Register before December 8, 2026, for a chance to race.

Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race Pickup: Friday, December 11, 2026, from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at Big Peach Running Co., Kennesaw.
• Race Day Pickup: December 12, 2026, at 7:15 am at Marietta Square.
