🏃‍♂️Description:

Tennessee Children’s Home is having Spring Hill’s 9th Annual Turkey Burn, a 1K | 5K | Half Marathon event on November 28, 2026. We are very excited to fill a community need and fund-raise.

❤️ Charity Mission:

The money raised will support the Middle Tennessee campus of Tennessee Children's Home and the programs provided. Children and youth, who otherwise would not have opportunities to learn about Christ, have educational services, and physical necessaries. We count on people like you to help provide this safe and secure environment. We hope that you will consider making an impact in this way, and that you understand how life changing your gift will be for children and youth who will be given opportunities because of your sponsorship and donation.

🏞️ Route:

The course will be multi-surface, gravel, asphalt, and cement. Come enjoy a beautiful run through the hilly back roads of Maury County and Spring Hill. The race will start and finish at Spring Hill High School.

PRE-PACKET PICK UP: Friday, November 27, 2026

• Time: Noon – 4:00 PM
• Location: Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee 5221 Port Royal Rd Unit 101 Spring Hill, TN 37174
• Materials: Race bib, goodie bag, and shirt
• ID Requirement: Registrants can pick up for others with a copy of their ID

T-Shirts are first come-first served. Although we order 500+ T-shirts, we can't predict sizes, thus sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after November 6, 2026.

• 7:15 am Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem and Prayer
• 7:30 am Half Marathon
• 8:00 am 5K Begins

• 9:30 am 5K Awards and Food
• 10:00 am Awards for Half Marathon and Food

🏅 Medals and Awards:

All Half Marathon and 5K participants get Finisher medals.

• Men’s Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
• Women’s Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
• Masters Runner: Men and Women 40+ 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
• Age Groups: Various male and female age categories

📜 Rules:

• Half-Marathon: 3.5-hour time limit (Course support will cease after 3.5 hours)
• Dogs: Not allowed
• Strollers: Welcome for the 5K and 1K
• Pace Requirement: 15-minute mile pace or faster for course support
