Live Like Jack 5k for Clubfoot

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Lace up those running shoes and dust off your boogie shoes for the first annual Live Like Jack 5K and 1 Mile Kids run followed by a post race dance party and arm wrestling competition. What more could you ask for on a balmy August evening?!

💙 Why Are We Doing This?

Just like you our son, Jack, loves to run, jump, dance and play. He was born with a birth defect called bilateral clubfoot which, if left untreated, can impair a child's ability to walk, run, jump and play. Jack also has arthrogryposis and limb differences, which affect his upper extremities and joints.

💰 How Your Participation Helps

• Treatment Costs: Treatment can be costly so we felt a calling to start a charity that assists families with the cost of care associated with these conditions.
• Travel Support: Many families have to travel to treatment areas and there are costs associated with travel, lodging, treatment, management (special shoes and braces, physical and occupational therapies.... to name a few).
• Financial Ease: Our proceeds will help ease the financial burden for these families.
• Research and Awareness: All funds raised through the Live Like Jack 5k will benefit awareness, research, treatment and management of clubfoot and other musculoskeletal conditions and limb differences.

We aim to support EVERYONE--including those with disabilities, impairments, and differences-- in their journey to run, jump, play and ultimately LIVE like Jack.

• Participants: Walkers, children, and pets welcome and encouraged!! Or make a donation and come hang out with us :)
• Timing: Chip timing by A Matter of Timing.
• Post-Race Fun: Enjoy pizza and a dance party along with snow cones, arm wrestling, and other fun events for kids... and adults!
• Activities: Balloon characters by @tn.twister.
