Live Like Jack 5k for Clubfoot

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Lace up those running shoes and dust off your boogie shoes for the first annual Live Like Jack 5K and 1 Mile Kids run followed by a post race dance party and arm wrestling competition. What more could you ask for on a balmy August evening?!

🌟 Purpose of the Event

• Inspiration: Just like you our son, Jack, loves to run, jump, dance and play.
• Condition: He was born with a birth defect called bilateral clubfoot which, if left untreated, can impair a child's ability to walk, run, jump and play.
• Additional Challenges: Jack also has arthrogryposis and limb differences, which affect his upper extremities and joints.
• Charity's Mission: To assist families with the cost of care associated with clubfoot and related conditions.

💖 Support and Impact

• Fundraising Goals: All funds raised will benefit awareness, research, treatment, and management of clubfoot and other musculoskeletal conditions.
• Inclusivity: We aim to support EVERYONE--including those with disabilities, impairments and differences.
• Empowerment: Encourage everyone to run, jump, play, and ultimately LIVE like Jack.
• Redefining Norms: We were told when Jack was a baby that he would "never be normal" and we say.... maybe "normal" isn't all it's cracked up to be.

• Who Can Join: Walkers, children, and pets are welcome and encouraged!!
• Donation: Make a donation and come hang out with us :)
• Chip Timing: Chip timing by A matter of timing.
• Post Race Celebration: Enjoy pizza, a dance party, snow cones, arm wrestling, and more fun events for kids and adults!
