• Registration: Begins at 9am (must register in advance to get an event shirt)
• Event Start: 10am

Purpose of the Walk

• Memory Walk: Join us for the memory walk in Downtown Newark.
• Awareness: This walk is to bring awareness to those that have died due to substance use disorder.
• Support: Recognize those that are still struggling and our unsheltered population.
• Personal Connection: Feel free to bring a sign to carry on this walk or a pair of shoes that you would like to carry to represent your loved one.

• Ohio CAN/Newark Homeless Outreach: Strives to educate, embrace and empower those whose lives are affected by substance use disorder.
• Support for Families: Focuses on supporting families affected by substance use disorder.
• Community Engagement: Encourages community involvement and awareness.
• Mission: Advocates for the unsheltered population and those in need of assistance.
