- Participation: Runners and walkers of all skill levels are welcome.
- Virtual Option: You can also sign up virtually.
- Cause: All proceeds support children and families battling childhood cancer.
- Goal: Help Take the Sting OUT of Childhood Cancer!

- Starting Point: Begins at Rotary Park.
- Course Type: Paved course alongside the OSU-Newark/COTC campus.
- Nearby: Continues over SR 16 and near Raccoon Creek.
- Scenery: Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the campus.
Awards
- Medals: Finishers’ medals for all 5K participants.
- Top Finishers: Trophies for the top 3 males and females overall.
- Age Group Medals: Top 3 males and females in 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
- Walkers: Walkers are welcome to participate!
Results
- Automatic Results: Text and email results will be sent immediately after finishing for those who opt-in.
- On-site Results: Instant results available at the Results Kiosks.
- Website Results: Results will also be posted on the race website.
- Immediate Access: Stay updated with results from the race.
Race Packets and Finish Line Perks
- Packet Contents: Custom t-shirt with official race logo, race bib, and sponsor items.
- Refreshments: Water and refreshments available at the finish.
- T-shirt Guarantee: Participants registered by July 22nd are guaranteed a t-shirt.

- Policy: Fees are non-refundable.

- In-person Race: If unable to safely hold in-person, all registrations convert to a non-refundable virtual event.
