Race Description
- Participation: Runners and walkers of all skill levels welcome!
- Purpose: All proceeds raised at this event will support courageous children and their families in their battle against childhood cancer.
- Virtual Option: You can sign up virtually.
- Motto: Help Take the Sting OUT of Childhood Cancer!
Race Course
- Starting Point: Participants will start at Rotary Park.
- Course Overview: Enjoy a paved course alongside the beautiful campus of OSU-Newark/COTC.
- Scenic Route: The course continues over SR 16 and stays in close proximity to Raccoon Creek.
- Accessibility: Open to runners and walkers alike!
Awards
- Medals: Finishers’ Medals will be awarded to all 5K participants.
- Top Finishers: Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 males and Top 3 females overall.
- Age Group Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females in various age groups.
- Participation: Walkers are welcome!
Race Results
- Results Notification: Automatic text and email results will be sent immediately following a participant's finish for those that opt-in.
- Instant Results: Available on-site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.
- Real-time Updates: Stay informed of your performance directly after the race.
- Accessibility: Easy access to results for every participant.
Race Packets and Finish Line Perks
- Packet Contents: Includes custom t-shirt with official race logo, custom race bib, and other sponsor items.

- 5K Fun Run/Walk: $35 / Youth Pricing 14 & Under - $10
- 5K Virtual: $35 / Youth Pricing 14 & Under - $10 (Shipping Included)
- Policy: Entry fees are non-refundable.
