The Stonington Cross Country 5K will take place on August 5, 2026, at Stonington High School in Pawcatuck, CT. For more information or to register, visit here.
Course Details
- Start Location: The race begins on the track.
- Initial Loop: Participants will complete one loop around the track.
- Street Section: A 1/2 mile run will be on quiet dead end streets on the school campus.
- Trail Experience: The route includes trails that feature both single- and double-track sections.
Finishing Touches
- Grass Surfaces: Participants will exit the trails onto grass running surfaces.
- Picturesque Bridge: Runners will cross a beautiful bridge before the finish.
- Finish Line: The race concludes at the 50-yard line on the track.
