Race Date and Location

The 2026 Race is being moved to Thursday, June 18th due to inclement weather forecasted for the majority of the afternoon and evening on the original scheduled race date (Wed 6/17).

Location: 200 Museum Dr, Lansing, MI

Event Overview

• Title: 24th annual Twilight Run
• Type: Fun evening race in downtown Lansing
• Course: Accurate and scenic 5k course

Entry Fees

• General Entry: $30 until June 11 (T-shirt guaranteed)
• Late Entry: $35 from June 12 to June 17 (no shirt guaranteed)
• Race Day: $40 on race day (no shirt)
• Youth Discount: Ages 18 and under the entry fee is $20, discounted price will be automatically applied during registration

Results & Awards

• Results: Accurate chip time and current overall and age group place will be texted to your phone and live on the race website.
• Awards: Medals to top 3 in each age group
• Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
• Overall Winner: Overall and Master winner receives a $25 Playmakers gift certificate and medal, awards available at the race starting at 7:30 PM

Packet Pick Up

Race day from 5:30 pm to 6:50 pm at the start/finish of the race at the end of Museum Dr.

Course Details

Accurate and scenic out and back on the Lansing River Trail.

Cause and Support

As in years past, proceeds from the race go to support High School and Middle School Cross Country and Track programs, and Youth Running Clubs through the Michigan Running Foundation grant program.
